In case you were wondering, my vacation/honeymoon was absolutely
wonderful. We had such a great - and relaxing time! Not answering
a phone, checking emails, or proving support - I didn’t want to
come back!

But when I DID get back…

Hundreds of emails - many were junk - a few business related phone
messages and a few support tickets to catch up on. Luckily, I
have a partner who handled most of the issues pertaining to our
hosting business.

Taking a break like that was very relaxing and rejuvenating. I
came back raring to go. It really cleared my head.

Strangely enough, a few of the emails were from customers that

any problems. Instead, I got emails asking if I would sell the

I was a little surprised, to be honest. I was resistant at first.

Today’s storing of data, information, images, videos, or any
personal content has changed drastically from the more manual
techniques of the olden days.

From simple account of daily occurrences of one’s personal life
(personal site) to the dealings of business entirety (business
site), the web has played significant role to formulate an
organized, precise, and accessible construction of the design
and content.

In getting your records, data, or account organized and
structured into methodical stream for a specific subject, one
needs to arrange everything into specifics before it would be
set up into the world wide web.

First, the objective of your site must be addressed in order for
you to plan well ahead of the details. If the site you were going
to set up would be for personal use or for a minimal number of
viewers only, you alone can do design for the technicalities of
the website.

However, if it would be for a business site, critical ideas are
important to be organized meticulously and must be submitted
accordingly to details because you would be dealing here on how
you could attract net visitors and get them interested of what
is the website about. In this matter, two key elements must be
noted: the web design and web hosting.

One can create a website with ease but technicalities of a
properly working site should be addressed properly. A website is
not just a plain website wherein the visitor would merely come
and go.

In a business wherein it is used as a marketing tool, a website
is more than just a necessity for this purpose alone. It also
makes up for the company’s entity or presence all over the globe.

What does it take to make a site more appealing to the internet
visitors? It must be simple yet interesting enough to make
viewers waiting not in vain. Interesting environment would
consist of pleasing-to-the-eye graphics, and friendly-user
interaction.

This means that the site must not take too long before it
downloads to the very core of the website. And most important of
all, the content of the whole site must be a true substance for
a specific company. Just to make sure true technicalities of the
site is flowing properly many have turned to the web hosting
companies and let them take over the task of creating a
functional and effective website.

Website hosting is a type of service that caters to the online
users’ accessibility of their information/data. A number of web
hosting services are already in proliferation and have taken
their place in the industry to make websites flexible to
everyone.

Web hosting can be divided into six general categories:

First is the free web hosting, which is what most people get
their start in their web but have a very tight disk space.

Web shared hosting places the sites under one server and also
has some restrictions but not nearly as what free hosting does.

Web reseller hosting companies offer services to the middlemen
in the industry and one gets larger share in the space and
bandwidth. Reseller hosting also shares one server with others
but not as many as the shared hosting.

Virtual private server hosting, on the other hand, hosts several
virtual environments under one physical server and these behave
like a remote stand-alone server.

The web dedicated hosting service is much more expensive than the
other mentioned hosting services but this has more flexibility as
one gets its own server. This service is considered the ultimate
web hosting solution because of the its combined advantage of
exact control, over the web site server, the dedicated
connectivity along with the technical support.

The last general type of web hosting services is the most
expensive, colocated hosting. Web colocated hosting is usually
chosen by those who have server administration experience.
Colocated hosts offer service for those with needs far beyond
dedicated hosting or shared hosting can satisfy.

Other more specific web hosting types are: e-commerce web
hosting, windows web hosting, front page web hosting, Unix web
hosting, along with other web hosting company provides.

If one would want to set up his own site, the internet offers web
site hosting directory and web hosting list, web hosting reviews,
web hosting forum, and as well as web hosting rating to allow
users to obtain adequate knowledge before they venture out to
their own web site plans be it a personal web site or more
professional web sites.
